Amit Jeswani
Founder, Chief Investment Officer and Principal Officer of Stallion Asset Private Limited. Stallion's own SEBI Disclosure Documents and investor presentations have named him in this role continuously since the firm's 2018 incorporation, and its current presentation lists an investment team of two: Amit Jeswani as CIO & Principal Officer and Arpit Shah as Fund Manager. Unlike some fund managers on this site, the firm states his qualifications, tenure and role directly in its own regulatory filings this profile checks those claims against the filings rather than inventing what isn't there.
Is Amit worth your time?
Amit Jeswani is the founder, Chief Investment Officer and Principal Officer of Stallion Asset Private Limited, and unlike some fund managers profiled on this site he is unambiguously, extensively documented: the firm's own disclosure documents and presentations have named him as Principal Officer and promoter-director continuously since incorporation in 2018, and have stated his CFA and CMT credentials, his education, and his tenure in every filing we reviewed from 2024 through 2026. The strategy he leads, the Stallion Asset Core Fund, has a seven-year public track record (launched October 2018) with a since-inception return of 28.38% CAGR as of 31 August 2026, against a stated benchmark (BSE 500 TRI) return of 14.71% over the same period a genuinely strong headline number, alongside two negative calendar years (2022 and 2025) when the benchmark was positive. Set against that record are three things worth weighing before treating any of the firm's marketing figures at face value: a real and currently unresolved gap between what the firm's presentation/factsheet and its own SEBI Disclosure Document say about AUM on the same date; an inconsistent public account, across the firm's own materials, of when the business actually started; and a settled-but-real SEBI enforcement action against Jeswani personally, predating the PMS but disclosed in the firm's current regulatory filing. None of these make the track record fictitious. They do mean this page treats the firm's marketing prose as a starting point to be checked against its regulatory filings, not as the final word and you should do the same before wiring money.
Investors who want the Stallion Asset Core Fund strategy a concentrated, growth-biased multi-cap/flexi-cap mandate (37.1% large cap, 29.8% mid cap, 25.0% small cap, 8.1% cash as at 31 August 2026) run under a single, long-tenured founder-CIO with a public, SEBI-registered track record since October 2018 and who are comfortable evaluating that record on the firm's regulatory filings directly, rather than solely on its presentation slides, given the discrepancies documented above.
About Amit Jeswani
Amit Jeswani is the Founder, Chief Investment Officer and Principal Officer of Stallion Asset Private Limited, the Mumbai-based portfolio manager registered with SEBI as INP000006129. He leads the firm's flagship and effectively only public strategy, the Stallion Asset Core Fund, a concentrated multi-cap/flexi-cap growth strategy launched in October 2018. He is also a promoter-director of the firm.
Unlike a fund manager whose credentials rest on an unverifiable LinkedIn line, Jeswani's qualifications are stated by the regulated entity itself: he holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter and the Chartered Market Technician (CMT) designation, and holds a BBA (Hons.) in Business from Kingston University, London — all stated consistently in Stallion Asset Private Limited's SEBI Disclosure Documents and investor presentations from 2024 through 2026. The firm's own materials describe him as beginning to invest at age 16 under the guidance of his father, a stockbroker, and credit him with roughly 12–14 years of capital-markets experience depending on the document's date (12 years as of the October 2024 disclosure document; 14+ years as of the September 2026 disclosure document — an internally consistent progression, not a discrepancy).
He has represented the firm publicly on business television, including a CNBC-TV18 appearance on 13 March 2025, and the firm's Core Fund track record now spanning almost eight years — is the primary public evidence of his investment record, alongside the regulatory record discussed above.

Founder, Stallion Asset (research-analyst business)
Registered as a SEBI Research Analyst (INH000002582) prior to the PMS entity's incorporation. The firm's own materials date this phase's start inconsistently — "2013-14" in some bios, "2016" in the firm's most recent disclosure document and presentations. This is the business referenced in the May 2022 SEBI settlement order.
- AUG 2020 — MAY 2022
SEBI proceeding over the prior Research Analyst business
Initial SEBI inquiry letter dated 20 August 2020 (Ref. Settled without admitting or denying the findings. Disclosed in the firm's own Disclosure Document in materially the same terms, first located in the 30 July 2021 edition while the matter was still pending.
- FROM AGE 16
Began investing in capital markets
Per the firm's own materials, under the guidance of his father, a stockbroker. No independent, dated primary source beyond the firm's own bios was located for this specific claim — reported here as the firm's stated account, not independently verified.
- Before Stallion
Not disclosed
No prior employer can be verified from any primary source. Aggregator profiles list two former employers, but those records are the same class of scraped source that routinely merges people who share a name, and this name has a documented collision. They are omitted rather than published unverified.
Six principles
Market leadership
"There is nothing worse than competition in business, Monopoly is the only condition of every very successful business." The firm favours category leaders over competitive, fragmented industries.
Size of the opportunity
The firm states it invests "in companies that address a market which is large enough" to let a position compound significantly without needing to keep taking market share from entrenched competitors.
Management integrity
"A Bad Person is a bad person & he will never make a good deal... The Fair Value of a Promoter with no Integrity is 0." The firm states it screens promoter/management quality explicitly, including capital allocation and capital distribution track record.
Growth at a reasonable price, not a PE screen
The firm has stated plainly, in its own presentations, "We don't use PE Ratio's," arguing that multiples-based screens only work where growth is below the cost of capital the stated aim is high-growth businesses at a reasonable (not necessarily statistically cheap) valuation.
Buy and rotate, not buy and hold
"Every bull market has a different leader; we find the leader in every bull market and stick to it," and a stated preference for "companies that are making 52-week highs" over "new 52-week low" businesses a momentum-aware overlay on the fundamental screen.
Cut losers early
“There is no bigger Mistake in Investing than Holding on to your losers for a Long time. Being wrong is acceptable, Staying wrong is stupid!” — historic presentation. The firm publishes no explicit cash policy; its mandate permits 0–100% equity and it held 2.83% cash at 31 July 2026.
The call that shows the method working
Named everywhere. The numbers still don't agree.
Two things are true at once about Amit Jeswani's record, and a reader deserves both.
He is named, consistently, in every filing.Unlike some fund managers on this site, there is no attribution gap here: Stallion's SEBI Disclosure Documents have named him Principal Officer and promoter-director in every edition located, from July 2021 through September 2026, and its investor presentations have listed him as CIO & Principal Officer continuously since at least January 2023. That is the firm's own regulatory paper trail, not just marketing copy.
But the firm's own documents disagree with each other Its presentation and factsheet dated 31 August 2026 report firm AUM of roughly ₹9,547–9,610 crore. Its SEBI Disclosure Document, covering the identical date, reports ₹5,833.01 crore across 5,942 clients a gap of close to 64% for the same day. Separately, the firm's account of when it started has moved: "2013-14" on older bios, "March 2016" in its own presentations and disclosure-document biography, against a 2018 incorporation and SEBI registration date that is not in dispute.
Neither fact cancels the other. The website and presentation attribution is why this page exists; the filing gap is why the page is short, and why the score below should be read as the strategy's record rather than as a verdict on an individual track record.
